Virtual + Augmented Reality Social Experience for BMW World | Munich

Not only for Drivers

BMW is a leader in driver-centric automotive technology. When asked for an integrated VR / AR live simulation for the BMW World Exhibition Center, we quickly determined an under-served demographic less interested in race car style driving simulation. For this audience we created a more friendly and passive Passenger Experience, that highlights those people who may be riding along, while also deftly predicting self-driving technology disruption. Due to the public nature of the experience for 2 passengers, the onlookers can join the fun using AR via smartphones to reveal the changing vehicles and terrains the passengers are experiencing, while waiting their turn.
